Synopsis
The classic telling of a small pig named Wilbur. As the runt of the litter, Wilbur was destined for slaughter on the eve he was born, but the precocious Fern Arable convinced her father to let her keep and raise him as her own. When Wilbur becomes too large to live in the house any longer, he is taken to live with Fern's Uncle, Homer Zuckerman, on his farm. It is there that Wilbur meets many four legged, feathered friends and one extraordinary friend, in particular, that would change his life forever. Charlotte, a clever and talented spider, determined to save Wilbur, from his Christmas dinner fate, begins her campaign by spinning "Some Pig" into her web. When it's discovered the next morning the Zuckerman's and townspeople of Somerset County are baffled by the miracle. It's the beginning of a victorious campaign for Wilbur and a true friendship among them as we learn about the circle of life.
